Also, there's an increase in inventory happening due to buyers taking their time and an increases in monthly Home Owner Association fees (HOA) taking place throughout Florida.
Two challenges sellers are facing:
1) Increase in inventory on the market giving buyers more options.
2) Increases in monthly HOA fees (maintenance):
- As less insurance companies want to insure Florida the ones that do are increasing costs. For example, I own a unit at Trump Palace my monthly HOA fees was increased from $1,340/month to nearly $1,800/month.
-Another increase is taking place as workers are demanding higher salaries due to inflation.
